Miuccia Prada founded Miu Miu in 1993, naming it after her family nickname. Part of the Prada Group and shown in Paris, it is known for playful, youthful takes on classic wardrobe pieces and for slim, archival-looking sneakers and ballet flats.
Miu Miu takes the school uniform, the cardigan and the trainer and makes them feel young and slightly undone. Suede, nylon and soft knits in muted colours, with a sense of humour that never tips into costume.
