About the brand
Amicus Animae is a denim-led label founded in 2021; its name is Latin for "a kindred spirit". It sources rope-dyed and selvedge denim from Kaihara in Japan and Cone Mills in the US, and finishes its jeans by hand, with frayed hems, rebuilt waistbands and hand-applied fades.
