About the brand
Cristóbal Balenciaga opened his first house in San Sebastián, Spain, in 1917 and moved to Paris in 1937, where his sculptural couture made his name. Today the house is known for bold proportions, sneakers and leather bags such as the Le Cagole and the Hourglass.
