Designed by Dame Margaret Barbour in 1980 for riding: a short, 6 oz waxed cotton jacket with a corduroy collar, brass two-way zip with studded storm flap, two bellows pockets and two moleskin-lined handwarmer pockets.

Outer: 100% waxed cotton (6 oz). Lining: 100% laminated cotton. Trim: 95% acrylic, 3% polyester, 2% elastane. Collar: 100% cotton. Drip strip: 100% polyester.
Do not wash. Sponge clean only.

About the brand
Barbour was founded in 1894 by John Barbour in South Shields, in the north-east of England, making oilskin clothing for sailors and fishermen. The family company became known for its waxed cotton jackets and its diamond-quilted jackets, worn in the British countryside and in town.
