Full-grain leather keeps the whole surface of the hide, so it is strong and ages well. This one has a flat matte finish made to resist scuffs.

Which size should I take?
Rick Owens gives no fit note. They come in European sizes with half sizes up to 45½; we suggest your usual European size.
Is the zip just decoration?
No, the zip on the inside of the ankle lets you put them on and take them off without undoing the laces.
Are they warm enough for winter?
They are leather high-tops lined in calf leather. With wool socks they usually work on a normal Tbilisi winter day.
About the brand
Rick Owens started his label in Los Angeles in 1994 and moved it to Paris in 2003, where he still shows his men's and women's collections. He runs the company with his wife and partner Michèle Lamy. His dark, draped clothes and the Geobasket sneaker have long had a cult following.
