About the brand
Prada was founded in Milan in 1913 by Mario Prada as a leather goods shop in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. His granddaughter Miuccia Prada took over the house in 1978 and made black nylon one of its signatures. Since 2020 she has designed the collections together with Raf Simons.
